Terms of Service

miinideck lets you upload a self-contained HTML file and receive a private, unguessable link to share it. Depending on your plan, you may protect a link with a password, set an expiry date, and organise files into projects.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Sign-in is handled through third-party providers (Google or GitHub); you are responsible for keeping access to those accounts secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may also use the Service without an account (a no-account upload), subject to the limits in the Free and no-account uploads section below.

You agree not to upload, host, or share any content that:

• is unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive, including phishing pages or credential-harvesting forms;
• contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
• infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
• is defamatory, harassing, or hateful, or depicts the sexual exploitation of minors;
• attempts to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service.

We scan uploads for known phishing and malicious indicators, but you remain solely responsible for the content you upload.

You retain all rights to the files you upload (Your Content). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and serve Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service — for example, hosting your file and delivering it to people who open your link. You represent that you have the right to upload and share Your Content.

We may remove any content, disable any link, or suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, is the subject of a credible abuse report, or exposes us or our users to legal or security risk. Where practical we will act proportionately, but we may act without prior notice when content poses an immediate risk.

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation stops future renewals, and your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Prices are stated in US dollars and may change. We will give notice of any price change before it applies to you.

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment for that subscription by contacting us at the email in the Contact section. Refunds for renewal payments after the first 7 days are offered at our discretion.

Files uploaded without an account automatically expire 7 days after upload. On the free plan, links expire 7 days after upload by default, except one always-on link you may keep indefinitely; all free links carry a small footer crediting miinideck. These limits are part of the free offering and are not defects. Paid plans remove the footer, allow unlimited always-on links, and offer longer retention.

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that files will be stored without loss. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any files you upload.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
